Gabe Cervantes
Research Manager
Gabe Cervantes is a spectrum diversity futurist exploring the nuances of identity formation and expression as they relate to the notions of space and place. His forecasting is focused on racial, ethnic, gender, age, and thought diversity and how it will come to shape future workforces and executive leadership. Gabe's research is focused on the next generation of youth and the impacts they will bring as they begin entering the workforce and mainstream culture. Grounded in diaspora studies, Gabe’s interests lie in leadership development and how spectral diversity will play a key role in the future of organizations.
Gabe holds a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College majoring in American Studies with a dual focus on Latino/a and Africana studies. At the Institute Gabe works closely with Distinguished Fellow, Bob Johansen, supporting his work on his books, speaking engagements, and custom forecasts.
Gabe has spoken to, led workshops with, and taught futures forecasting to organizations like LinkedIn, United Rentals, WestRock, Walmart, and the Virginia Military Institute. Gabe supports leaders at non-profits like the Information Technology Senior Management Forum, advising on membership programming and how to be more future-focused.
