The Future of Human-Machine Interaction

Throughout 2010, IFTF  systematically researched and synthesized this view of the future of robotics. We distilled all of that information in the materials now at the tips of your fingers, or perhaps your gripper. Delve into these ten domain papers analyzing where we think the largest transformations are imminent and the impact will be greatest. In each domain, we consider how machines may help us understand ourselves, how they may extend human abilities, or how they may automate tasks that are currently human responsibilities, or entirely beyond our capabilities. We hope this research helps you consider how the Robot Renaissance may play out in your work, and in your life. After all, the future of robotics is ultimately the future of humanity.
