+TECH: A Community of Futures Thinkers and Technology Makers

For you to read this post, how many technologies did you interact with?

Technology is all around us. Rarely, however, do we get the chance to talk to the people who create it—those who shape tomorrow’s technology, and how we interact with it.

+TECH (“plus tech”) changes that. +Tech is a new initiative out of IFTF’s Technology Horizons program that builds a community of futures thinkers and technology makers. Over evenings of Ignite talks, speakers will share their visions for how technology will shape industry in the coming decade.

+TECH Events

Each event in the series focuses on the technology of a specific area or industry, giving us a deep dive during a single event and a broad view of the technological landscape as we move throughout the series.

+TECH speakers sit at the edge of technical reality and world-changing possibilities. They are leaders and game changers coming from the areas of design, robotics, medicine, human computer interaction, hardware design, materials science, and more. Guests are also technology makers and aficionados, giving way to a high level, fascinating Q&A and conversation throughout.
