Laurel Funkhouser
Administrative + Operations Coordinator
Laurel returned to IFTF as Administrative / Operations Coordinator in June 2012. In addition to her previous work as an Administrative Assistant at IFTF, Laurel has worked as a Senior Administrative Associate at Genentech Inc and as an Administrative Coordinator for the biotech company Amgen. Prior to that, Laurel spent 13 years in the hospitality industry, working for Sweeney, LLC, and Hilton Hotel Corporation. She will be working directly with Bob Johansen, as well as taking over facilities, providing backup support to the program managers, as well as any general office needs. Laurels’ wide range of skills are an important asset to IFTF as the Institute embarks on a variety of new and challenging projects.
