Matt Chwierut
Research Affiliate
Matt Chwierut currently serves as a research affiliate, supporting IFTF's research efforts in a variety of ways. He thinks foresight and forecasting can help guide strategic approaches to social problems, and his passions mirror his IFTF research efforts on education, sustainability, social enterprise, and global development.
Before moving to Berkeley for for his MCP program, Matt was a Research Manager at IFTF, with a focus on education and the future of civic communities. In addition to his work on the Future of California project, Matt contributed to other projects including the development of a map of future forces that will affect sustainability over the next ten years.
Matt holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities from Stanford University, and an MCP from UC Berkeley, focused on cities, strategic planning, and development.
