Scenario Building: Discovering Alternative Futures

At our first 2009 Health Horizons’ conference, we will present our Health Care 2020 Scenarios, which will focus on several broad strategic responses to the challenges health care faces in the years ahead. These scenarios will map a range of possible approaches— for example, markets, technology, commons, and policy—that will shape and define the future of health care in the United States. We’ll explore the kinds of innovative solutions that a diversity of stakeholders across the global health economy will have to offer in order to move beyond present-day dilemmas and issues.
