Program + Community Manager, Ten-Year Forecast
Carol makes forecasts come to life. As lead engagement strategist of Learning Journeys at the Institute for the Future, Carol creates inspirational immersions for building your preferred future. She also manages program and community engagement for Ten-Year Forecast and Future for Good. Her responsibilities range from developing strategies for client communication to coordinating large-scale events for diverse communities of experts, researchers, and leaders in innovation.
Carol comes to IFTF with extensive background in managing program development, client relations, and global marketing communications in the non-profit and corporate sectors. Most recently she managed a public diplomacy program connecting emerging foreign leaders with Bay Area citizens on behalf of the US Department of State. Her inquisitive nature has led her to live in six countries on four continents, inspiring her research on voluntary migration, cultural identity, cosmopolitanism, and globalization. Carol holds a Master of Cultural Studies from the University of Sydney and a BS in Communication from Boston University.
